THE WOODLANDS, TX - Molly Fowler will share a few of her favorite recipes on the Whirlpool Cooking Stage during the 11th Annual Fall Home and Garden at The Woodlands. The event is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, August 24 and 25, at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center located at 1601 Lake Robbins Drive.

Fowler will cook on the newest Whirlpool Cooking appliances provided by Built-In Appliance Center. She plans to have two different routines for the show. During her ""Sweet and Sassy Southwestern"" session, she will prepare open-faced brie and peach quesadillas, as well as chipotle-glazed pork tenderloin on jalapeno corn cakes, garnished with an avocado-cilantro cream sauce.

For her ""Party Diva-Style"" show, Fowler will make tropical shrimp skewers with a lime-cream dipping sauce and fig, goat cheese and rosemary tarts with a honey balsamic reduction.

She also wants to show how a host can still enjoy the party. ""You can create show-stopping dishes and serve them with flair and you don't have to spend the whole time in the background,"" she said. This traveling culinary instructor, television personality, recipe developer, product spokesperson, and cookbook author's motto is ""Make every day an occasion.""

The Whirlpool Cooking Stage is one of the featured spots in the Home and Garden show's line-up of presenters and exhibitors – all offering suggestions to update and beautify the home and garden.

The 11th Annual Fall Home and Garden at The Woodlands will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 24 and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 25. Tickets are $9 for adults, $7 for seniors and free for children under 12. Parking is free. The event takes place at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center, 1601 Lake Robbins Drive, 77380.
