Tomball ISD has committed to two school sites in the new Village of Creekside Park. One school will be located in the first phase of development near Gosling Road, and the other school will be located near Kuykendahl Road. The first school will be an elementary campus serving students in grades K-6. A bond issue is planned for Tomball ISD that includes construction of the two schools. If approved, construction would begin as early as 2008.

Sites have also been identified for pre-schools and child care centers. Acclaimed private schools including The John Cooper School, The Woodlands Christian Academy and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School are located in neighboring villages in The Woodlands.

Montgomery College and The University Center in the Village of College Park provide higher learning opportunities, job training and continuing education.

Active-adult Community:
Lennar Homes, developer of Windsor Hills and Windsor Lakes in The Woodlands, is planning to develop a new 541-home active adult community for residents 55 and over. The plans for the community include a clubhouse with swimming pool, fitness center, billiards room and social activities for residents. The site for the active adult community is located just west of Kuykendahl.

Places of Worship:
The master plan includes six sites for places of worship throughout the village.

Shopping:
Village center, planned to include a grocery store, drug store, banks, restaurants, gift shops, DVD rentals, dry cleaning, professional offices, service stations and other neighborhood conveniences similar to the other village centers in The Woodlands.

Carlton Woods Creekside:
500-acre expansion of the gated community of Carlton Woods, planned to include 298 custom and estate residences surrounding the Tom Fazio Championship golf course. Property owners are members of The Club at Carlton Woods, featuring the Nicklaus course in Carlton Woods and the Fazio course in Carlton Woods Creekside. Carlton Woods is one of only two private clubs in the country to offer the Nicklaus/Fazio combination.

The 53,000-square-foot Italianate-style main clubhouse is located near the Nicklaus course in Carlton Woods. A second clubhouse is being built near the Fazio Course. The Tuscan-inspired design will include a 13,500-square-foot clubhouse and 6,000-square-foot cart barn arranged around a Village Square on a hillcrest overlooking the golf course. The clubhouse interior will be richly appointed and will feature a Grille and bar with a vast stone fireplace overlooking the 18th hole, a pro shop, and men's and women's locker rooms. The cart barn has been designed as a multi-function pavilion for club events, with large sliding doors that open to the Village Square and golf course. The clubhouse is slated for completion in early September of 2007.

To date, 138 homesites have been sold in Carlton Woods Creekside. Homesites range from 1/4-acre to over two acres and are priced from the $190's - $1 million plus. New homes are under construction, and the first residents moved into their new homes in October of 2006.

Community Services:
The Village of Creekside Park is located within the jurisdiction of The Woodlands Association (TWA). Police protection will be provided by the Harris County Sheriff's Department and Harris County Constable, Precinct 4. When residents begin moving in, the TWA will supplement the routine patrols from Harris County with contract deputies as it does elsewhere in The Woodlands.

Creekside Park will be served by The Woodlands Fire Department (WFD) for fire protection and emergency medical services. In the short term, fire protection will be supplemented by Harris County Emergency Service District, which has a station south of Creekside Park on Kuykendahl Road. A station for WFD is planned to be constructed in Creekside Park on Kuykendahl in 2008 and be operational in early 2009.
