National Achievement Scholarship for TWHS senior

Forrest Berg, a Woodlands High School Senior, received a $2,500 National Achievement Scholarship, underwritten by ExxonMobil.

Son of 2 engineers, Berg is the founder of Inventors without Borders, a socially concerned organization focusing on creating inventions for countries with less privileged conditions.

Forrest Berg intends to continue his academic training at Stanford or Rice, where he would pursue a career in mechanical or petroleum engineering.

Established in 1964, the National Achievement Scholarship Competition, a privately financed academic competition, honors talented black American youth and provides scholarships for their further formation.
