THE WOODLANDS, TX- According to a new report by Metrostudy, Texas remains the dominant location for the top master-planned communities (MPC), particularly the Houston market.
The Woodlands was ranked #2 among the top-selling master-planned communities in the country and #1 in Texas, and its sister community Bridgeland was ranked #8 in the country and #4 in Texas.
Both The Woodlands and Bridgeland are managed by The Woodlands Development Company, a subsidiary of The Howard Hughes Corporation.
Seven of the Top 20 Master-Planned Communities identified in Metrostudy's primary research were located in Houston, with San Antonio and Dallas-Fort Worth also gaining recognition.
