THE WOODLANDS, TX - Fireworks, international foods, strolling carolers, holiday light displays and the largest seasonal ice rink in the southwest once again will come to The Woodlands as the 31st Annual Lighting of the Doves, 7th Annual International Winter On The Waterway (iWOW), The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center and Donoho's Jewellers Winter Wonderland return on Saturday, November 23, 2013 as part of the holiday events in The Woodlands.

31st Annual Lighting of the Doves

Lighting of the Doves and iWOW kick off the 2013 holiday season in The Woodlands on November 23, 2013 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. where live entertainment, interactive booths and games, snow play areas sponsored by CB and I and more make for great family fun. Enjoy a snow slide, inflatables, bubble runners, children's arts and crafts, balloon artists along with strolling entertainers and fireworks.

Produced by The Woodlands Convention and Visitors Bureau, the celebration will feature a grand appearance by Santa, sponsored by Talisman Energy, aboard a decorated sleigh on The Woodlands Waterway®. The free event will be held at Town Green Park (2099 Lake Robbins Drive) and is open to the public.

7th Annual International Winter On The Waterway (iWOW)

In conjunction with the Lighting of the Doves Festival, International Winter On The Waterway (iWOW) will celebrate its seventh year on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. along The Woodlands Waterway adjacent to Town Green Park.

At the iWOW Festival, families celebrate the cultural diversity represented in The Woodlands with booths presenting holiday traditions from around the world. Check out the iWOW World of Holiday Trees, presented by CenterPoint Energy, and enjoy international foods, arts and crafts, music and entertainment.

Admission to iWOW is free and open to the public.

The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center

The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center, produced by The Woodlands Convention and Visitors Bureau, opens daily Saturday, November 23, 2013 through Monday, January 20, 2014 at the northeast corner of Lake Robbins and Six Pines Drive. A special preview opening of The Ice Rink will take place Saturday and Sunday, November 16 and 17, 2013. The Woodlands Ice Rink is the largest seasonal Ice Rink in the Southwest and is open to the public. Special offers and coupons are available on the Ice Rink website.

Donoho's Jewellers Winter Wonderland

Another must-see while in The Woodlands is the Donoho's Jewellers Winter Wonderland where visitors can stroll through a fantasyland of magical lighted toy soldiers, elves, doves, musical angels and snowmen from dusk until 11 p.m. Surrounding The Woodlands Ice Rink, Donoho's Jewellers Winter Wonderland is open to the public beginning Saturday, November 23, 2013 through Monday, January 20, 2014.

Caroling on the Square

Finally, when it's time to unwind, come to Waterway Square for Caroling on the Square featuring live caroling groups on Saturday, December 7, 14, and 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A special appearance by Santa on December 7 and 21.
