Conroe ISD Recognizes Teen Volunteer of the Year

The Conroe Independent School District Board of Trustees gave special recognition to Shireen Bell, a senior from The Woodlands High School, for being awarded the 2012 YMCA of Greater Houston Teen Volunteer of the Year.

Shireen Bell is a volunteer at the South Montgomery County YMCA, located in the Village of Cochran's Crossing.

The award is presented to one youth who has a significant impact on the community through volunteer work, positive leadership, strong character, an ethic of service, a commitment to equality and social justice, and exemplifies the five core values of the YMCA: Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, Caring and Faith.
