Cunae International School is a small private school set within six acres on the edge of The Woodlands. In an enviroment that is both encouraging and supportive, Cunae offers an internationally recognized academic program to students grades Pre-K through 10th grade, with planned expansion to 12th grade.
The school emerged to support a need for an adaptable education reflective of the world in which we live, and the diverse student population that exists. At Cunae they recognize that children are unique in their backgrounds, interests, skills and experiences; possess varied learning styles; and advance at different rates. These distinct differences underscore the necessity of a flexible educational approach so that each child has the opportunity to succeed. Cunae adheres to this approach, modifying and individualizing the environment and curriculum to meet the specific needs of each student. |

As part of meeting those needs, Cunae has developed an effective, dynamic and relevant curriculum so that their students’ academic social awareness and attainment is in step with the ever changing world and today’s global society. To this end, several national and international standards have been resourced, in addition to implementing the International Baccalaureate Program. In support of these standards, Cunae actively consults new research findings in the areas of education and developmental psychology. Such research not only underpins the curriculum, but helps ensure that the atmosphere is conducive to both their students’ and academic scholarship personal development.
Equipping students for a global economy and society through developing their appreciation, understanding and tolerance of other cultures and ways of life. Fostering students’ respect and awareness for the natural atmosphere, and promoting mature citizenship. Developing students’ essential skills will give rise to leadership, personal development, self confidence, and the capacity to respond to the changing world. |
