Bridgeland Community Information
The Bridgeland community is located approximately two and a half miles of U.S. 290 on Fry Road and encompasses more than 11,000 acres. Envisioned to be a people oriented master planned development, the community will one day include more than 21,000 homes for 65,000 people, as well as an expansive town center to be located along the future path of the Grand Parkway.
An extensive lake and trail system will connect residential villages and neighborhoods together with recreational, educational, cultural, employment, retail, religious and other offerings that will eventually be located throughout Bridgeland and/or its town center.
Bridgeland Education
Children living in Bridgeland will go to schools in the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District, the largest school district rated as “Recognized” by the Texas Education Agency. Cy-Fair students benefit from a wide array of challenging academic and extra-curricular activities and a low student to teacher ratio of 15 to 1.
According to the district’s latest statistics, well over seventy percent of high school students in Cy-Fair ISD go on to attend college. Students will attend some of the district’s newest state-of-the-art schools located nearby at the Spring Cypress Road and Skinner Road tri-campus site. |
