Cricket Communications in Sam Moon Center

Sam Moon Center receives new addition; Cricket Communications has opened a location in the Sam Moon Center.

The wireless service center offers programs such as flat monthly rates, unlimited talk and text and no contracts or credit checks. "Every tenant helps because they bring their own clientele," said Patrick Murphy, real estate director for Sam Moon. "Cricket is a nationally-known name." The communications company recently expanded its coverage area in Texas.

The Sam Moon Center opened in October 2006 with about 165,000 square feet of retail space. The center includes stores such as Sam Moon Trading Co., Sam Moon Luggage & Gifts, Sam Moon Home Decor Store and Woodlands Golf. The center now has 12 occupants with two more on the way.

According to Murphy, the shopping complex is about 70 percent full, with Sam Moon franchises taking up a good portion of the space. The trading store is about 25,000 square feet. The center is located at 17940 Interstate 45 South in Shenandoah. Many stores are open 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The Cricket service center will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
